Islamic Month Rajab 2024
Rajab is one of the four sacred months in Islam.Rajab is a very important month because it was a time when fighting was stopped in Arabia before Islam. This meant that pilgrims and traders could travel safely. The Qur’an says the sacred months, including Rajab, are special in Surah At-Tawbah (9:36).

Mi’raj
One of the most important events in Rajab is the night journey and ascension of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to heaven. This journey is believed to have happened on the 27th night of Rajab. The Prophet traveled from Mecca to Jerusalem and then ascended to the heavens, meeting various prophets and receiving the command for the five daily prayers.
Battle of Tabuk
The Battle of Tabuk, led by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), took place in Rajab. The expedition showed the unity and strength of the Muslim community.
